Meet the Brewer at Brewligan’s

The newest bottle shop has recently opened in downtown Troutdale!  They offer over 75 bottled beers, 5 draft beers to choose from as well as a menu of gourmet hot dogs you can munch on while you play Atari down in “the basement” – yes, your childhood dream has come true.  Or, at least mine has. Buckman-Kerns Brewfest

It’s back for its second year!  The Buckman-Kerns Brewfest is next Sunday, January 15th at EastBurn.  Doors open at noon with a $10 admission fee which gets you a keepsake glass pint as well as four tasting tickets.  Sample beer for one ticket or spend four tickets for a full pint. We’ll be there with three beer styles for your choosing!  Nat will be pouring and Ian will be on hand to talk shop or talk Star Wars.

Uptown Market, located at 6620 SW Scholls Ferry Rd in Beaverton, is a new beer store featuring over 500 beers to choose from, two rotating taps for you to sit down and enjoy a pint or fill a growler to go, in addition to also having brewing supplies, tastings & classes! Plew’s Brews 1st Annual Winter Beer Fest

2011 Holiday Ale Festival

2nd Annual Eugene Winter & Strong Ale Fest

It’s back!  16 Tons brings back their Winter & Strong Ale Fest with over 70 beers, many of which are either limited releases or hard to find & enjoy.  The Fest runs November 19th & 20th – doors open at 12pm tomorrow, with a full beer list happening 4pm-10pm.  Admission is zero dollars with the 3oz tasters only setting you back $1 to $3 dollars.  The event is cash only, so run/bike/walk/waddle/drive/fly/send someone else to the Credit Union, (banks are SO three weeks ago), and pull out a large amount of cash, (having enough money to cover rent & utilities

Killer Beer Week

Brewpublic’s Killer Beer Week is nearly upon us!  There are many great events planned throughout the week including two Natian will be in! * Monday, October 17th is Killer Pumpkin Beer Fest hosted by Green Dragon.  The event starts at 5pm with Green Dragon saying  there are to be “15+ pumpkin brews on tap including two hollowed-out pumpkin “casks”. This is an all pumpkin affair featuring pumpkin cocktails a pumpkin food menu with pumpkin pie, toasted pumpkin seeds, pumpkin cookies and more!” Our Pu-Pu-Pu-Pumpkin Ale, which we brewed this time last year and has been aging, gracefully, will be pouring!

Natian Turns Two

It’s hard to believe we’ve been brewing beer for two years now!  We have some special beers to commemorate this special occasion  & are really excited to share them with you. The Lumberjane Stout will be on nitro, (my favorite – although I have learned drinking nothing but this at 8.6% isn’t the smartest choice.
